MFC is excited to announce the promotion of Shaun Rogers to Assistant Forest Management Chief!

A graduate of Mississippi State University and an MFC veteran since 2004, Shaun brings over two decades of field experience to his new statewide leadership role, most recently serving as Assistant Regional Forester in Region 1.

In his new position, Shaun will help coordinate the MFC's statewide Forest Management program, support 16th Section school trust lands, review management plans, and work closely with private landowners and partners.

Congratulations, Shaun, on your continued dedication to Mississippi’s forest resources! 🎉🌳

MFC has opened applications for the Trees Across Mississippi (TAM) Urban & Community Forestry Grant! This competitive, reimbursable grant opportunity helps fund local greening, tree planting, and invasive tree removal projects.
