La Salle University is proud to introduce a new Bachelor of Arts program in Sports Communication within the School of Arts and Sciences, launching fall 2027!

Explorers who join the program will master the art of ethical storytelling across written, oral, digital, and video platforms while tackling the real-world legal, cultural, and societal issues shaping the modern sports world. Through capstone projects, broadcast productions, and professional internships, Explorers will graduate ready to solve complex industry challenges and make their mark in sports media.

La Salle University Explorers in Christian Fellowship participated in a one-day retreat to Chestnut Hill College for a day of connection, reflection, and growth.

The group had the opportunity to hear from Pastor Robinson and Brother Mike about what it means to live with purpose and had conversations about leading with Lasallian values.

La Salle University grad and President of Wawa Brian Schaller, ‘97, MBA, is making his way back to 20th and Olney to speak with accounting Explorers on “Accounting Driven Decisions at Wawa” on Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. in Founders’ Hall Auditorium.

As president of Wawa, Brian utilizes the education and values he gained at La Salle to see the company reach its greatest potential.

The new rankings selected only the top 500 institutions in the nation, positioning the University in the top-tier of options for postsecondary education.

Director of the La Salle University Speech-Language-Hearing Community Clinics Kris Ralph, M.S. CCC-SLP, was chosen by the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders to participate in their 2026–2027 Simulation IPE Community of Practice cohort!

Kris will spend a year in the program that brings together faculty and staff from different institutions to collaboratively develop and implement simulation-based interprofessional education experiences.

Join fellow Explorers for this fall break service opportunity!

Explorers will travel to Inglis House Nursing Home on Oct. 20 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. to assist residents in games and activities and provide students with a chance to interact with residents.

Inglis is a skilled nursing facility that offers nursing/medical services in a home-like environment. Residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible. Inglis focuses on the entire person, not just a medical diagnosis. They work to help residents reach their goals all while receiving the services they need!
