Okay… I have to celebrate this one! 🥹🏆✨

My P-S-A-Y-D-N STEM Ambassador 2026 Special Project II Cohort certificate AND plaque arrived! 🎓🔬✨

And yes… I’m taking a moment to celebrate myself and the work. 👏🏽

I’m incredibly grateful to Contrell Armor and the entire P-S-A-Y-D-N After School Association team for the collaboration, support, and opportunity to be part of something that goes beyond a title.

This partnership helped create an apprenticeship opportunity, and I’m excited to continue the journey and see what we can build together. 🚀

Education + Exposure + Opportunity = IMPACT.

Grateful for the recognition.
Grateful for the collaboration.
And definitely ready for the next chapter. 💫

STEM changes lives. 🔬🚀

City of Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker Gratitude in Action ✏️🔬

We are proud to announce that Ibrahim Youth Scholars (IYS) has been awarded $400 through the Philadelphia Activities Fund.

We are grateful for the opportunity to put these resources directly into the hands of our young people. With this funding, IYS will provide 20 students with a hands-on Pencil Engineering Project, giving students an opportunity to explore engineering, creativity, problem-solving, and innovation using accessible materials.

Every dollar matters. Every resource has purpose. And every opportunity we create for our students is an investment in their future.

Thank you to the City of Philadelphia and Mayor Cherelle Parker for supporting youth enrichment and educational opportunities in our communities.

At IYS, we believe in making the most of what we receive—and turning resources into real learning experiences for our scholars.

$400 → 20 students → hands-on STEAF learning.

This is Gratitude in Action. ✏️🧠⚙️

🚨 Applications for the IYS STEAF School of Excellence Summer 2026 Internship Cohort are now officially CLOSED. 🚨

We want to thank every student, young leader, and future professional who applied to be part of this opportunity. The level of passion, talent, and purpose shown throughout the application process has been truly inspiring.

Congratulations to the selected interns joining our Summer 2026 Cohort! 🎉

Orientation and onboarding for accepted candidates will begin tomorrow, June 1, 2026, as we officially welcome our new team members into the IYS STEAF School of Excellence community.

This cohort represents more than an internship — it represents leadership development, workforce readiness, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and real-world impact.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing updates, milestones, achievements, and behind-the-scenes moments as our interns grow through hands-on experience and community engagement.

Thank you again to everyone who applied and supported this initiative. The future is being built one opportunity at a time.

Visibility with purpose. 📈✨

We’ve officially launched structured Community Spotlight placements through Eritrea’s Wealthy World — designed to amplify aligned businesses while directly supporting youth education initiatives through Ibrahim Youth Scholars (IYS).

This isn’t random advertising.
It’s intentional exposure within a community-centered ecosystem.

🔹 Community Spotlight Feature — $5
🔹 Growth Visibility Package — $10 (2 placements)

Each feature includes curated content, highlight placement, and mission-driven storytelling — not just reposts.

If you are:
• A founder building something meaningful
• An educator creating impact
• An organization serving community

Let’s collaborate.

When visibility fuels education and workforce development, everybody grows.

📩 Message me directly or DM to secure a placement.
Limited weekly spots available.

Full circle moments like this remind me why the work matters.

Today, on my first day of training, I ran into one of my former students from our Ibrahim Youth Scholars after-school program (Class of 2019).

To see her thriving, growing, and still connected years later is a quiet reminder that when you invest in young people, the impact never expires.

Grateful for the journey, the relationships, and the continued evolution of IYS → STEAF School of Excellence.
This is legacy work. This is purpose.

💛✨
