One more month until Election Day! Please note that Mifflin will be the alternate location for voting on Nov 3rd for folks whose usual polling place is the, currently closed for renovations, East Falls Library.

We have received word that the alternate polling locations for folks who typically vote at the library will be across the street at Mifflin. Election day is November 3.

Happy Sunday! If you haven’t already, please use this dreary day and take a few minutes to fill out the SDP School Calendar Survey TODAY. It’s the most direct way to let the School District know your preferences for the Academic Calendars for the upcoming 2️⃣ school years (rather than complaining about it after the schedules get released). Please give your input!

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO COMPLETE:

‼️📚 Mifflin Staff Fundraiser Alert: Ms. Lutz, Mifflin’s new School Counselor is hoping to add new social emotional tools to her space that students across all grades will benefit from.

“I would love to get some things to fill up what will be a prize/resource cupboard in my office that I can use for kids I meet with. To start it would be desirable fidgets/sensory objects and mindfulness journals.

I also want to build a social/emotional library in my room. It would be fiction and non-fiction books specifically geared towards problems/struggles/feelings/changes in development our K-8 kids face. I do have some books now but most of them are geared towards the younger students. I would like to make sure the books cover diversity too because all experiences are not the same.”

Please check out her Amazon Wishlist and let’s SUPPORT by donating and/or sharing out the fundraiser far and wide:

‼️ Ms. Bogdon is raising funds toward classroom snacks for her kindergarteners!

“For some students, having a snack available can make a big difference in their ability to stay focused and engaged. I love seeing my students’ curiosity and excitement about learning, and I want to do everything I can to help them stay energized, motivated, and ready to explore new ideas.Your support will help me provide my students with something simple but meaningful—a quick snack, a moment of encouragement, and a reminder that their hard work matters.”
