We are proud to spotlight Katrina Carroll-Haskins ’11, a board-certified art therapist who is using the creative arts as a powerful tool for trauma recovery and healing!
Featured in our university magazine, Votis, Katrina shares how the support and encouragement she received in Holy Family’s fine arts program built the foundation and confidence for her impactful career. Today, through her private practice, Illuminated Pathways, she uses artistic mediums like clay and painting to help clients process difficult experiences when words fall short. Beyond her clinical work, Katrina is actively shaping the future of her field by supervising emerging therapists and advocating alongside the Pennsylvania Art Therapy Association for state licensure.
We join our entire community in celebrating her dedication to empowering others and advancing her profession. Read the full feature story below. |
