Thursday evening in Philadelphia was more than a book event. It was a shared experience that stayed with you long after you left the room.

In celebration of Through Mom’s Eyes by Sheinelle Jones released this week, The Philadelphia Chapter of The Links, Incorporated had the honor of co-hosting an unforgettable evening alongside the Free Library of Philadelphia.

From the fireside chat to the book signing, every moment was wrapped in love, vulnerability, and grace.

Because when stories are told through a mother’s eyes, they carry a different weight.

They hold sacrifice, reflect resilience and remind us of the quiet strength that shapes who we become.

The room was filled with love, reflection, and inspiration that didn’t just speak to us but settled within us.

And our Link Sister Sheinelle, we are so incredibly proud of you!!

Not just for this beautiful work,
but for the way you continue to show up with heart, with purpose, and with truth.

This wasn’t just a celebration of a book. It was a celebration of legacy, love, and the stories that connect us all.

There’s something sacred about a beautiful Saturday in the park.

The sun showed up for us!
The breeze whispered service.
And purpose walked beside us every step of the way!

Saturday, the incredible women of The Links, Incorporated, Philadelphia Chapter, gathered not just for a walk, but for a mission.

💧 Walked for Water. H2O for Life.

Because what feels like a simple step for us, is a life-changing journey for someone else.

Access to clean water is not a luxury, it is dignity. It is health. It is opportunity. It is life.

And today, we walked in solidarity with communities around the world where water is still out of reach, where children carry buckets instead of backpacks, and where every drop is a fight for survival.

This is what service looks like. This is what sisterhood feels like.

We didn’t just walk for awareness, we walked for impact. For equity. For humanity.
