Students in our Philly Tech Gateway program gamed (and designed) their summers away, and we couldn't be more proud!

Congrats to the 27 students who completed our Game Design and Robotics Summer Sprint!

In the game design track, 13 participants learned to create games using GameMaker and were introduced to Python programming. By the end of our sprint, each student produced their own Space Rocks-style arcade game as well as a platform game featuring custom levels and character challenges.

On the robotics side, students learned engineering documentation and note-taking before wrapping up the program with hands-on mechanical robot construction.

A big thank you to the always wonderful Drexel University Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships for hosting us!

Yesterday, we celebrated 28 incredible middle school students who spent their summer exploring careers, building workplace skills, and preparing for their futures.

Representing 12 schools across Philadelphia, students shared what they learned through Junior Achievement of Southeastern Pennsylvania's curriculum, from active listening and interview etiquette to professional communication. They also presented on career pathways they explored, including education, nursing, engineering, business, law, and culinary arts.

Our favorite part? Hearing from families about the confidence and career awareness our program provided, and seeing students forge friendships with peers from schools across the city.

Spend a few weeks with PAI this summer and learn Robotics!

We are currently recruiting students aged 13-18 for our FREE summer tech programming. Class will meet twice weekly for hands-on learning and collaboration at the Dornsife Center.

This is for our Robotics programming only.

Participating students will be eligible for a $200 stipend and SEPTA passes. Spots are limited. Apply today!

It always goes so fast.

This week, we celebrated the graduating seniors from our workforce development programs at The Braidmill.

Surrounded by family, friends, and supporters, we recognized our students' hard work, perseverance, and accomplishments while sharing a few parting gifts and words of wisdom for the journey ahead.

Attendees also enjoyed a fireside chat with Tracey Syphax, author of From the Block to the Boardroom, moderated by our President & CEO, F. Christopher Goins. Tracey generously provided signed copies of his book for graduates to take with them as keepsakes and inspiration.

While this chapter is coming to a close, it's far from goodbye. We're excited to continue cheering on our graduates' success and staying connected through our alumni program.
