It’s the last week to purchase tickets to MAG’s raffle basket fundraiser! Tickets are available for purchase at each WAG location through January 8th: you can call any office to purchase over the phone! Thank you for supporting Minnie’s Amazing Gift.

It’s fitting that today, , marks MAG’s second anniversary. This year has clearly demonstrated the extensive need for help in funding pet medical care, and we are continuing to do our best to make sure all pets can access the treatment that gives them the best chance to thrive. We want to issue the hugest, warmest thank you to anyone who has donated, helped spread the word, and applied for assistance. You are all essential to MAG’s mission.

Meet Baker! This sweet girl has a hard time using her back legs. Her discomfort is managed with medications, but we wanted to give her more freedom and mobility, so MAG helped her out with a loner cart which her dad reports she is adjusting to nicely! If you want to help pets like Baker, MAG accepts both monetary donations and donations of mobility assistance devices like carts and harnesses.

Did you know? In addition to monetary donations, MAG accepts in-kind donations of pet-specific medications, supplements, mobility assistance devices, digestion and incontinence support, and exercise equipment! If you want to help out, please check the list of accepted items or feel free to get in touch if you have questions about an item you don’t see listed here. Drop offs can be made at any location, but please let us know when you are planning to come by!

Shinook wants to thank Dr. K for helping him feel better; he also thanks everyone who has donated to MAG, especially in recent months as so many pet owners, like his people, have found themselves in challenging financial circumstances. Shinook received laser and acupuncture to address hind end weakness and wobbliness, and regular treatment is a huge help for his mobility and quality of life. As a small, family-owned practice, we know our clients well, and we know that the consequences of COVID-19 have made it hard for some to afford veterinary care at this time. If you are concerned for your pet’s wellbeing but concerned you may not be able to afford the treatment they need, please do not hesitate to ask how we can help. As WAG’s scholarship fund, MAG designed for this purpose, and though we cannot help all pets to the degree we would wish, we may be able to ease the financial burden for you. Our fundraiser for MAG‘s birthday is TOMORROW at and we are so excited to see you there! 6-9pm on 12/4: the entirety of your $7 library fee to play fantastic pet-themed games will support MAG. Want to buy your 50/50 raffle tickets early? Just come by WAG — they’re available now (and are a great way to participate in !).

Reminder! Our fundraiser is this Thursday at 7pm, and we have big news: we are offering remote attendance! If you would love to make the talk but can’t make it in that day, $15 will allow you to attend from the comfort of your home! Email us at [email protected] for more information on remote registration. Meanwhile, there is still space for in-person attendance. We can’t wait to see you!

Our fundraiser talk for is coming up on Thursday 9/26, 7pm at WAG’s Philly office! Dr. Fuoco will discuss how to identify pain and discomfort in pets. Admission is $15 with a RSVP, $20 for walk-ups. Light refreshments will be provided, and we will include a raffle! Email us to reserve your spot or stop in and register in person today!

Do you know how to identify when your pet is experiencing pain or discomfort? On September 26 at 7pm Dr. Fuoco will host a talk at WAG Philly focused on identifying signs of pain. Admission is $15 with an RSVP and $20 at the door. All proceeds benefit MAG! For more information, call WAG’s Philly office or stop by to sign up in person.
