After a period of thoughtful contemplation, discussion, and reflection, the Leprechauns organization has made the courageous decision to temporarily suspend football operations for the upcoming season, paving the way for future growth and revitalization. Although we are not yet fully back at Cohox, our football program has faced unprecedented challenges that have tested our resilience, and we have come to realize that we cannot provide the exceptional experience our kids and families deserve without a solid foundation. In light of this, we will shift our focus toward basketball, exploring innovative opportunities such as a fall basketball league, as we continue to rebuild, reconnect, and strengthen our community bonds. We humbly request your ongoing support through donations to help maintain our clubhouse, cover utilities, and meet our financial obligations, ensuring the organization remains vibrant and thriving. We eagerly anticipate the day when we can reignite our football program, and we are committed to making it stronger than ever. PORT RICHMOND LEPRECHAUNS COMMUNITY MESSAGE 🍀

Over the past few seasons, we’ve had to face a reality that hasn’t been easy for our organization — we’ve become disconnected from the very community that built us.

With the rebuild of our home field and being forced to relocate, we lost more than just a place to play…
We lost daily visibility, neighborhood engagement, and that consistent presence that kept our kids, families, and supporters tied together.

And to be completely honest — we are struggling.

Not for lack of heart. Not for lack of effort.
But because without a home base in our own neighborhood, it’s been difficult to keep our numbers up, maintain funding, and stay connected to the families we were built to serve.

This organization has been part of Port Richmond since 1961. We’ve always been more than sports — we’re about structure, mentorship, and giving kids a place to belong.

Right now, we’re asking for the community’s help to rebuild that connection.

Here’s how we can come back stronger together:
• Spread the word about our program
• Bring your kids out to register and participate
• Volunteer your time as a coach or team helper
• Support our fundraisers and events
• Help us secure a permanent space back in our community
• Share ideas on how we can better serve YOU and your families

🏈 Leprechauns Football Block Pool Fundraiser

The Port Richmond Leprechauns will be selling Football Block Pools as a team fundraiser.
👉 Each team will have 1 full sheet (100 blocks), and every player is required to sell a set number of blocks.

Funds raised will go toward:
• 🧥 Team tracksuits
• 🏈 Remaining referee fees for the season

This fundraiser is mandatory and helps reduce out-of-pocket costs for all families.

🔢 What Is a Super Bowl Block Pool?

A Super Bowl Block Pool is a fun way to raise money while giving participants a chance to win cash prizes during the big game.

How It Works:
• The board has 100 blocks (10×10 grid)
• Each block costs $20 per square
• Participants choose and pay for their squares
• Once the board is full, random numbers (0–9) are assigned to the rows and columns
• Winners are determined by the last digit of each team’s score

• 1st Quarter Winner: $175
• 2nd Quarter Winner: $150
• 3rd Quarter Winner: $175
• Final Score Winner: $500

Total payout: $1,000 (if all blocks are sold)
(Payouts may be adjusted based on sales.)

If the score ends Eagles 7 / Chiefs 3, the person who owns the block where 7 meets 3 wins that quarter.
