Face to Face Germantown At Face to Face, struggling families, low-income individuals and people experiencing homelessness are welcomed and treated with dignity and respect.

Our goal is to meet basic human needs and reduce suffering. Face to Face is a human services organization which provides free meals, nurse-managed health care, legal and social services, private shower facilities, computer training, and creative arts studios. Focusing on the power of human connection, Face to Face creates encounters of hospitality, mutuality, and transformation in the Germantown c

ommunity. Face to Face was incorporated in 1996, and is headquartered in East Germantown, Philadelphia.

Imagine trying to apply for housing, employment, healthcare, or benefits - without identification. For many of our guests at Face to Face, this is a daily reality.

This past month, our Legal Center held a Birth Certificate Clinic of the year where volunteer law students helped guests complete 34 birth certificate applications. Many thanks to these Villanova law students who have given their time and talent to us for 3 years and congratulations on their recent graduation!

Today we celebrated 42 years of service with our Founder’s Day BBQ. We took our meal serving outside to the grill with hamburgers, hot dogs and potato and egg salads. Face painting and a DJ added to the fun! And, thanks to The Junior League, each guest received a gift bag of toiletries. A good time was had by all!
