Statement from the Fraternal Order of Police – Federal Lodge 01F

The members of the Fraternal Order of Police, Federal Lodge 01F, extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and fellow troopers of Corporal Timothy J. O’Connor Jr. of the Pennsylvania State Police, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty in Chester County.

Corporal O’Connor dedicated his life to protecting and serving the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. His courage, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to public safety represent the very best of law enforcement. His sacrifice is a solemn reminder of the dangers faced each day by those who choose to wear the badge.

Today we mourn the loss of a trooper, a colleague, and a brother in law enforcement. Members of Federal Lodge 01F stand in solidarity with the Pennsylvania State Police and the entire law enforcement community during this difficult time.

To Corporal O’Connor’s family, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Your loved one’s service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, Corporal O’Connor. Your watch has ended, but your legacy of service and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who continue the mission.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the tragic events that took place in York County yesterday. Five brave officers were struck by violence—three who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and two who now face the long road to recovery.

We ask our brothers and sisters, families, and community members to keep these officers, their loved ones, and their departments in your thoughts and prayers. Their courage and dedication to protecting others will never be forgotten.

May we stand united in support, remembrance, and solidarity during this difficult time.

The members of Federal FOP Lodge 01F, based in Philadelphia, proudly stand in solidarity with our fellow public servants across the City of Philadelphia who have made the difficult decision to go on strike.

As federal law enforcement professionals, we understand the value of hard work, fair treatment, and the right to negotiate for just compensation and working conditions. No city can function without its dedicated workforce — from sanitation and transportation to clerical and support staff, these employees are the backbone of Philadelphia’s daily operations.

We call on city leadership to return to the table in good faith and deliver the fair contract these workers deserve. Their voices matter, and their service to our city must not be taken for granted.

United we stand — because when one group of workers is under attack, all workers are.
