Girls on The Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident. We serve Philadelphia County.

Girls on the Run Philadelphia – a life-changing, non-profit program for girls in the 3rd through 5th grade. Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running. The 20-lesson Girls on the Run curriculum combines training for a 5K (3.1 miles) running event with lessons that inspire girls to become independ

ent thinkers, enhance their problem solving skills and make healthy decisions. All of this is accomplished through an active collaboration with girls and their parents, schools, volunteers, staff, and the community. Girls on the Run Philadelphia is an Independent Council of Girls on the Run International, which has a network of 180+ locations across the United States and Canada.

Tuesday was a day our girls won't forget! 💚🦅

Our Kendrick Recreation Center and Penrose Elementary Girls on the Run teams were invited to watch the Philadelphia Eagles practice at training camp. The girls got to meet Swoop, snap photos with players, and soak up the excitement of game-day prep up close.

We are so grateful to the Philadelphia Eagles - thank you for an incredible experience! 💚
