Huge thanks to everyone who came out for last weekend’s Walnut Street bike lane cleanup in West Philly! Despite the heat, we made great progress from 50th to 53rd along Walnut. Shoutout to for lending a hand, too!

Get some reprieve from the summer heat by joining neighbors and friends for ice cream at Jeni’s (1322 Frankford Ave) on Thursday, July 17th. We will meet at 6:30 PM and hang until about 8:30 PM.

We’ll also share some volunteer opportunities for you to get involved with PBA.

District 3 is hosting another bike lane clean up! Meet us at 50th & Walnut on Saturday, July 12th to spend a morning cleaning up the Walnut & Chestnut Street protected bike lanes. We’ll have refreshments and all needed materials. Meet west philly PBA folks and your neighbors who bike! We can’t wait to see you there! Bring a friend!

Yesterday PBA delivered our first batch of Spruce and Pine postcards to Councilmember Squilla!

320 Phildaelphians wrote to about why they want concrete protection on every block of Spruce and Pine! They see protected bike lanes as key to a safer, healthier, and more affordable Philadelphia.

New tool launch! 🚀 Make our streets and sidewalks safer and more accessible with LASER VISION: our new tool that makes it easy to report blocked sidewalks, crosswalks, and bike lanes to the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

Snap a photo of a vehicle obstruction and Laser Vision will submit a report to PPA's Mobility Access Violation form using location, make, and model captured automatically from your photo.

How it Works:

Go to bikeaction.org/laser to access Laser Vision. Follow the onscreen prompts and submit. That’s it!

You must have a bikeaction.org account to submit to Laser Vision.

REMEMBER: never confront drivers. Be kind, report accessibility violations, and stay safe!
