Flip gets involved and is about to attack Mars when War Machine shoulder blocks him to the ground. Flip looks up shocked. Brute grabs his partner off the ground and flings some insults War Machine and Mars way.

Mars: “The nerve of these guys.”

War Machine: “Hey, we were Tag Champs ourselves. Might’ve been many moons ago. But we could still go.”

Mars: “That’s right. Tell ‘em!”

War Machine: “If these boys want. All the Wreckin’ Crew has to do.. is.. TRY ME!” 😠

💥 CARLOS SHOTGUN vs SHAWN TAYLOR
Over the top entrances. ✨
Pure intensity.
* Shotgun looks for the BulletBomb early—blocked
* Taylor targets the ribs from his earlier ambush
* Brutal back-and-forth, no wasted motion
* Taylor gets a near-fall with Avalanche Package Piledriver off the top rope but Shotgun happens to roll out of the ring before a pin is attempted.
* Carlos tries to apply a “Bullet Lock” Sharp Shooter but his ribs give out, allowing Taylor to almost score a schoolboy pin fall but Shotgun kicks out.

* York can’t gain the pin fall. Rage gains upper hand. Rage is almost about to deliver a “Straight to Hell” Powerbomb to York on the steel steps but he looks over him strangely, tilting his head, studying York as he crawls out of the open cell door.

Moment: York climbs the cell… Rage follows.

The Wreckin’ Crew have been out of the title picture for quite some time, after being the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in XWF history and they feel like this is their chance to punch their ticket back to the top. Meanwhile, “the Skeletons of Society” have been quietly inserting themselves as a real threat in the XWF, particularly in the tag team division. Now they get to prove themselves against the benchmark tag team, the Hall of Fame, “Wreckin’ Crew”. Sure to be a showdown!

Unfortunately there was a lot of controversy surrounding this man in his latter years. Growing up, he was simply “The Immortal Hulk Hogan” 💪🏼

I’ll never forget watching “Thunderlips” hoist Rocky Balboa over the top rope in “Rocky 3”…

And never, ever will I forget the moment my brother and I heard he was the 3rd man… and changed the landscape of wrestling, again … as “Hollywood” Hogan and the nWo were household names.

It’s a shame his character was pretty much tarnished down the stretch. And while rumors have him and Macho Man not really getting along…

Somewhere in Heaven.. the Mega Powers are arguing over Miss Elizabeth one more time 🙌🏼

XWF 'Hall of Fame' Spotlight: 9LP ("9 Layers of Poison")

One of the greatest XWF World Champs the world has ever known. 9LP was from the school of hard knocks and came up in the ranks in one of the most unlikely stories. 9LP started off his career being squashed in matches, his talent wasn't there and his frustration started to show. By the time his first year in the XWF was coming to a close however he had gotten some advice and trained with the best to be one of the most promising young stars in XWF history. Til this day, "greatest World Champ ever" and 9LP have been mentioned in the same breath. He had many great battles with fellow Hall of Famer, Jesse Jones for the Intercontinental title, including a Triple Cage match that went down as one of the best matches in XWF history. He won the World Title off of Benoit in the first XtremeMania ever. At XtremeMania 2 he would drop the belt to Mars and shortly after he would be forced in to retirement from a reoccurring neck injury. 9LP will never be forgotten! 9 Layers of Poison was the true underdog story and he went from the very bottom to the very top seemingly overnight.

Rest In Peace, Sabu.
The horrible news just broke, and it’s hard to put into words what Sabu meant to so many of us in the wrestling world. He wasn’t just a performer—he was a force. A trailblazer. A man who gave every piece of himself to the business.

I had the privilege of booking him in the past, and every time, he was a complete pro. He showed up, did great business, treated everyone with respect, and delivered something unforgettable. He made promoters look good, and fans leave happy.

Just a few weeks ago, I was in Las Vegas with Warlord for the Game Changer events. Sabu was in town that same weekend, working for the same crew on another show. There was a buzz in the air all weekend about his last match.

He went out the way he lived—on his own terms, in a hardcore main event that people are still talking about.

Sabu’s been through a lot these past few years. He carried more than people knew. But no matter what, he never stopped giving. Never stopped fighting.

Today we lost a legend, and the business will never be the same.
