Last week, several of our resident veterans and friends joined the Bucks County Tour of Honor's annual trip to Washington, D.C.

Escorted by the Bensalem Police Department from Parx Casino, the group visited Arlington National Cemetery, the World War II Memorial, the Iwo Jima Memorial and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, reflecting on the legacy of service and sacrifice that helped shape our nation.

The day concluded with a special Welcome Home celebration at Parx.

"Our veterans have given so much in service to our country," said Bill Conaway, PPH Director of Community Relations and Volunteer Engagement. "Seeing them honored throughout the day and welcomed home was a special way to recognize their sacrifices."

We are grateful to Bucks County Tour of Honor for providing our veterans with a day of remembrance and appreciation. 🇺🇸

🍂 Thank You to Everyone Who Supported the PPH Benevolent Care Garden Party! 🍂

Our 2026 Benevolent Care Garden Party brought together vendor partners, donors, residents and friends for a beautiful Fall Harvest celebration in the PPH Gardens.

Guests enjoyed seasonal flavors, a festive atmosphere and a strong sense of community that brought this year's Fall Harvest theme to life. Our raffle baskets were also a highlight of the evening, adding to the fun while helping raise additional funds for Benevolent Care.

We are grateful to our sponsors, donors, raffle basket contributors, volunteers and the many PPH team members whose hard work and dedication made the event such a success.

"It was a wonderful evening and a wonderful reflection of the PPH community," said Kelli Mills, EverTrue VP of Operations. "The Fall Harvest Garden Party brought together our vendor partners, donors, residents and friends in support of an important mission, and we are grateful to everyone who helped make the event so meaningful while benefiting Benevolent Care and the residents it serves."

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special evening possible. The generosity, enthusiasm and support of our community helped make this year's Garden Party a tremendous success.

Congratulations to the 2026 PPH Bocce Tournament champions! 🔴

Marge Katziner and Virtner Hynes, winners of the Resident bracket, faced off against Ray and Lisa of our Culinary team, winners of the PPH Team bracket, in a back-and-forth championship match. In the end, Marge and Virtner came out on top, 12-10!

Last year’s champs, Marge and Tom Sexton, presented this year’s winners with a tiny trophy that comes with some very big bragging rights! 🏆

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s tournament and helped make it a fun and successful event! All proceeds benefit PPH’s Fight Against Alzheimer’s.
We also recently unveiled our 2026 Bocce Tournament T-shirts, and more than 40 have already been sold! This year's shirt was designed by Davita Benson of our Social Services team. 👕

🎨 Today, we celebrate one of our many talented PPH residents, Elaine C. Grose!

Elaine's painting, City Places, was recently accepted into the Art Ability program, an international art competition judged by a panel of experts.

“I was inspired by the scenes of Philly on the news during the Eagles' run to the Super Bowl in 2025, seeing all the buildings and William Penn lit up in green,” Elaine said.

City Places will be displayed and available for purchase at Bryn Mawr Rehab from November 2026 through February 2027.

Congratulations, Elaine, on this outstanding achievement! We are proud to celebrate your creativity and talent. 👏💚
