Lambert Street Trap-Out Makes the American Bee Journal! 🐝
The Philadelphia Beekeepers Guild is excited to share that a story about one of Philadelphia’s more unusual bee rescues has been published in this month’s American Bee Journal.
The article, written by Guild board member and beekeeper Mark Berman of , tells the story of a colony that had taken up residence inside a sewer on Lambert Street and the 7-week long process of getting those bees out without simply destroying the colony.
It’s a story about urban beekeeping, problem-solving, a whole lot of bees, and the neighbors that came together to protect them.
📰 Check it out in this month’s American Bee Journal.
