I use to tell what time it was, simply by the position of the sun at any given time of day. At times I would maybe be off some 10 mnts. However, Eye think that everyone is capable of doing this. I think its a fun summer project for children.

Sometimes you need to tell the time, but haven't got a watch or cellphone to check. As long as you are outside on a sunny day, the following method will work anywhere in the world. Locate the sun in the sky.
