Seventy years ago today, the Montgomery Bus Boycott began. it was a courageous and disciplined act of nonviolent resistance that awakened a nation.

Under the leadership of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., thousands chose love, truth, and collective action over fear and injustice. Their sacrifice reshaped the moral landscape of our country and moved us closer to the Beloved Community.

As we honor 70 years of courageous nonviolent resistance, may we continue the work of confronting injustice with compassion, transforming systems through love, and choosing nonviolence as a way of life.

Can't GO Live!! But we are at the M L King High Student Gov't Debate in the 3rd Floor Lecture Room. Candidates are Senior - Shardae Robinson and Junior Rakin Martinez. The AAMLKHS spearheaded the efforts to re-install Student Government last year. This year the students were determined to change their represntation to obtain a louder and more solid voice.
