At the Kinkeeping Summit, we’re asking: What happens when we give those memories a frame—and make space for the stories behind them?

Join artist Chidinma Onukwuru for Framing Our Archive, a hands-on creative experience accompanying the In Diaspora exhibit. Together, we’ll explore memory, heritage, and the ways our senses can bring a moment back to life through art and craft.

Honored to Be Selected for Studio KIN Cohort 2

I’m honored and excited to share that I’ve been selected as a Studio KIN Cohort 2 Fellow!

Eight ventures. Five cities. One national cohort of practitioners, entrepreneurs, and designers who are place-based, culture-first, and rooted in their communities.

I’m grateful to be joining this incredible group of leaders working across heritage, preservation, and culture-first community development.

Through my work as Founder & President of DiasporaDNA Story Center in Philadelphia, I’m committed to preserving and activating the stories, traditions, archives, ancestry, creative legacies, and cultural experiences of Black and global-majority communities.

Studio KIN feels deeply aligned with this work and with the vision I’ve been building through DiasporaDNA. I’m looking forward to learning, exchanging ideas, being challenged, and growing alongside this cohort as we continue creating meaningful, community-rooted work.

Congratulations to my fellow Cohort 2 practitioners! I’m looking forward to getting to know each of you and seeing what we build together.

And a special thank you to the Studio KIN team and funders for investing in culture-first community development and supporting practitioners doing this work in their communities.

We’re excited to spotlight Holistically Healed LLC at the Kinkeeping Summit — a wellness brand rooted in faith, natural healing, education, and intentional living.

Born from a personal healing journey, Holistically Healed was created to help others explore natural wellness through herbs, sea moss, nutrition, juicing, and holistic lifestyle practices. Their work is grounded in the belief that wellness begins with understanding your body and learning how to care for it with intention.

At Kinkeeping Summit, we’re exploring What We Carry — the stories, recipes, wisdom, traditions, and practices that move from one generation to the next.
And wellness knowledge is part of what we carry, too. 🌱
