During a recent visit to a remote school in Sanda Loko Chiefdom, Karene District, Sierra Leone, we witnessed the daily challenges many children face in their pursuit of education. Many attend school barefoot, without proper uniforms, school bags, or exercise books. The school has no access to clean drinking water and no toilet facilities, forcing pupils to go into the nearby bush whenever they need to relieve themselves. Despite these difficult conditions, these children continue to attend school with hope, determination, and a desire to learn. As the academic year has ended, CDECO is working to provide essential school supplies before the next term begins. Your support can help give these children a better start. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn with dignity.

Recently, our team at Children and Disability Empowerment Charity Organization visited a remote community in Sanda Loko Chiefdom, Karene District, Sierra Leone, where we discovered a school facing significant challenges.

The children attend school with remarkable determination despite difficult circumstances. Many have no shoes, no proper uniforms, no school bags, and no exercise books. The school also has no access to clean drinking water or toilet facilities, forcing pupils to go into the bush whenever they need to relieve themselves.

Despite these challenges, they continue to pursue an education with hope and resilience.

As the academic year has ended, we are preparing to support these children before the next school year begins. Our goal is to provide essential school supplies, including school bags, exercise books, pens, pencils, uniforms, shoes, and other basic learning materials to help them start the new term with confidence.
