Leaving a legacy....
The Office of Planned Giving at Penn Medicine was formally established in 1998 in response to the volume of planned gifts each year and the demands of donors for planned giving expertise. Since that time, the program has continued to grow and consistently leads the University’s efforts in planned giving fundraising both in the dollars received and in the volume of planned gifts. The Office of Planned Giving receives more than 200 planned gifts each year designated to the Perelman School of Medicine and/or to the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Donors who support Penn Medicine with a planned gift are welcomed into the Medical Legacy Circle stewardship society. The Medical Legacy Circle pays tribute to our alumni, faculty, patients and friends committed to the advancement of medical education, research and patient care, and to the role of Penn Medicine in the history and progress of medicine and the medical profession.
