Society has greatly influenced our perception of gender roles within society. As a result, we have established behaviors and customs that are contrary to the order in which God has intended. This distortion severely hinders our ability to have REAL success (prosperity) as God intended. While there is no one answer or solution to the problems we face, I submit this thought to you. Satan has used social, economic, and governmental systems to facilitate the castration of men, producing a society in which men are not encouraged or challenged to embrace their roles as the Heads of their households and responsibility for the guidance of their family. As men have their manhood gradually stripped from them, women & future men grow indifferent and act according to their deteriorated view of these individuals. I encourage us all, to regularly celebrate Men who have not abandoned their role and encourage those that have to assume their role by reminding them that they are important and in fact critical to the restoration and maintenance of their family and society as a whole. Headship is a responsibility that men are not to be intimidated by, but instead honored that God would give them such a responsibility. In fact, being created in the image of God, men are hardwired to embrace such a role and will forever feel out of place and uncomfortable when they are not assuming the position.
