Lower Merion Trailblazers composite MTB team Lower Merion Trailblazers is a NICA-affiliated youth mountain bike team based in the Lower Merion area.

The team includes students in grades 6-12 from LMSD as well as private schools in the district.

Our 2nd Lower Merion Trailblazers Try-It Day is happening THIS TUESDAY evening — and we’d love to meet you!
If your student has been curious about mountain biking, this is the perfect chance to give it a try in a fun, supportive, low-pressure environment. Riders of all experience levels are welcome — including complete beginners.

Huge congratulations to all of the nominees and winners of the 2025 NICA Awards. What an incredible celebration of leadership, grit, and heart across the league.

A very special shoutout to our own Jonas De Oliveira Beckman of LM Trailblazers for earning the TREK Extraordinary Character Award. Jonas sets the bar for our entire team — not just with how he rides, but with who he is. His kindness, encouragement, and steady support show up every single day, whether at practice or on race day, and no matter a teammate’s riding level.

We couldn’t be prouder to have him representing LM Trailblazers both on and off the trails.
