Since 1946, GKSB has been a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) performing arts organization proudly participating in the world-famous Philadelphia Mummers Parade!

Greater Kensington brings the color, excitement and musical celebration of the Mummers Parade to you any time of the year. With two first prize finishes under its belt, we have a performance for every occasion. We've played wedding receptions, private dinner parties and national conventions. For the past four days, the Greater Kensington String Band has had the incredible honor of representing Philadelphia at the MLB All-Star Village during All-Star Week!

Welcoming fans from across the country and around the world, we're proud to help showcase the energy, tradition, and spirit that makes our city so special. From sharing the Mummers tradition to meeting thousands of visitors, it has been an unforgettable experience.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, took photos, and celebrated Philadelphia with us. We are proud to represent what makes our city special. Philadelphia showed the world what we're all about, and we're honored that the Greater Kensington String Band could be a part of it! ⚾️ 🧢
