Summer camp got LOUD, in the best way! Frank Coates (Mister Boom Boom) from Play Patrol (Music & Sports Enrichment) brought the drums, the ukulele, and endless energy, filling the room with music and rhythm. The kids sang, clapped, and drummed along, and honestly, even the grown ups couldn't help but join in. Days like this are what summer at Frankie's World is all about!

Frankie's World had some very special guests in the building! NJ SnakeMan stopped by with reptiles for the kids to see up close, and the excitement on their faces said it all. From wide eyes to brave smiles, our kids got to explore, learn, and experience something new together. Moments like these are what summer at Frankie's World is all about.

Our Summer Enrichment program took flight this week! 🦅✨

We welcomed "The Bird Woman" who brought an incredible array of birds for our kids to meet up close. From wide eyed wonder to giggles of delight, our children (and even some brave staff!) got the chance to hold these amazing feathered friends. Moments like these are what summer enrichment is all about: hands on learning, new discoveries, and pure joy. 🐦💙

Wild Things Preserve came to visit!

Our summer camp kids got up close with bunnies, a duck, a turtle, and a few cool reptile friends today, and the excitement was contagious! From soft fur to scaly skin, our children got to see, touch, and learn about all kinds of creatures.
Encounters like this are what summer camp memories are made of.

🎉 20 years of Frankie's World! 🎉
On July 20, 2006, Frankie's World opened its doors. Twenty years later, we are still here every single day, showing up for children with complex medical needs and the families who love them.

It costs approximately $125 a day to care for one child at Frankie's World, covering the nurses, aides, and teachers who never miss a beat. A gift of just $20 a month adds up to $240 over a year, nearly two full days of complete care for one of our children.

To celebrate this milestone, we are launching Frankie's Circle: 20 for $20. Our founding goal is at least 20 monthly donors giving $20 or more, but twenty is our starting line, not our finish line.

Barnyard fun came to Frankie's World!

Quiver Farms visited us with a petting zoo which included animals like ponies, ducks, bunnies, and chickens, giving our children a hands on chance to meet some furry and feather friends. The smiles, giggles, and wonder on their faces said it all.

This special guest enrichment experience was made possible thanks to a summer camp grant from Little Smiles of PA. This grant is helping us bring summer to our camp for another year!

Thank you Quiver Farms for making memories our kids will treasure.

Our team came together for a red, white, and blue luncheon filled with grilled favorites, laughter, and community. The kids enjoyed hot dogs and fresh fruit while the grown ups swapped potluck dishes.

The cherry on top? Celebrating our Board Chair's birthday with Board Members in attendance and a beautiful cake featuring a sweet photo of her and her daughter Frankie. What a joy to celebrate her on the very holiday that reminds us what family and freedom mean.

Grateful for this community, this mission, and every person who shows up for our kids.

Week 2 of our summer enrichment series brought some real excitement to Frankie's World Foundation! Firefighters from Engine 13 / Ladder 1 / Medic 50 of the Philadelphia Fire Department stopped by to meet our kiddos and it was a full sensory, full Joy experience. The children got to see the truck up close and even climb inside the cab. The smiles on their faces said it all!

At Frankie's world, our summer enrichment guests give our medically complex children moments of joy and new experiences, right here at Frankie's World. A huge thank you to Engine 13 for making it happen. 💛
