On behalf of the DBHIDS Engaging Women & Girls of Color (EWGOC) Initiative, we are excited to invite you to our Second Annual Symposium, My Sister’s Keeper: Supporting Future Generations.
The My Sister’s Keeper Symposium is designed to create an intentional space for healing, connection, and collective empowerment among women and girls of color. Rooted in the principle of “My Sister’s Keeper,” the event centers on supporting one another, uplifting our voices, and strengthening emotional and mental well‑being across generations. This gathering will bring together women and girls of color from different age groups to encourage intergenerational dialogue, shared learning, and meaningful relationship‑building. Through storytelling, conversation, and reflection, participants will explore how collective care, mentorship, and representation shape the well‑being and future pathways of girls of color in Philadelphia.
The event features a keynote, panel discussion, storytelling, live performances, and a workshop. Free breakfast, lunch, giveaways, and access to wellness resources.
