Today, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated stands with the warriors, families and caregivers impacted by sickle cell disease❤️

On World Sickle Cell Awareness Day, we raise awareness, advocate for equitable care and honor the strength of those living with this inherited blood disorder.

Hope is growing as new advancements in gene therapy are creating potentially curative treatment options for eligible patients, bringing us closer to a future without sickle cell disease.

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated honors Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, as an historic moment in American history. On June 19, 1865, news of the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached the last enslaved individuals in Galveston, Texas, marking the true beginning of freedom for all.

We proudly recognize the efforts of our own trailblazing Soror, Opal Lee, the “Grandmother of Juneteenth,” whose unwavering advocacy helped make Juneteenth a federally recognized holiday in 2021.

Today, we celebrate emancipation, reflect on our ancestors’ strength and resilience, and recommit to the work of advancing justice, equity, and unity. Through education, action, and solidarity, we move closer to a world rooted in true freedom for all.

It's OFFICIAL! Greek Week 2026 is on deck!!!!

NPHC-SEPA has several great events planned for you! RSVP for each event at https://bit.ly/sepagw26 (link in their bio). *Greek Week is open to the public.

Each One, Reach One, starting Wednesday, August 5, 2026, meet us at A. Philip Randolph Technical School (3101 Henry Avenue Phila, PA). Shifts begin at 4 PM. The Council will be partnering with the school to help refresh their spaces for the upcoming school year. Teacher supplies donations are very welcome.

On Thursday, August 6th, who doesn’t love a good Game Night!? Bring your favorite games to this night of fellowship, laughter, and fun. There will be Karaoke on deck too! They will be at the Black-Owned Casey's (812 N. Lansdowne Ave, Drexel Hill, PA) at 6 PM.

Come cool down at their Greek Splash on Friday, August 7th from 6-9 pm at the Black-Owned George Washington Carver Pool (249 East Jacoby St, Norristown, PA)! They're bringing this event to you for FREE! Expect a food truck with delicious food available for purchase and a DJ with dope tunes. Bring a towel, swimwear, sunscreen, and beverages!

On Saturday, August 8th, Greek Kickback at the newly renovated, Black-Owned Peabody (1431 Cecil B. Moore Ave, Phila, PA). Look forward to great music, good food, NO COVER, All Vibes!

Greek Week 2026 will be closing out with a moment of thanks, Praise & Worship! On Sunday, August 9th as we Lift Every Praise at Prince of Peace Baptist Church (1844 N. 32nd St, Phila, PA) at 11 AM for a mighty word!

Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day!

Elder abuse is a serious global issue impacting millions of older adults every year. On this important day, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated stands united in raising awareness about the mistreatment and neglect of our elders.

We are committed to creating a world where our seniors are respected, valued, and protected. Let’s take action by:

💙Educating ourselves and others
💙Supporting and checking in on our elderly community members
💙Advocating for the rights and dignity of older adults

Together, we can be a voice for those who may not be heard.

With one final chapter meeting left in the sorority year, we decided to have a little fun before getting down to business. This was designed to break even the strongest Soror...but somehow, almost everyone held the line.
