The Parkwood Helping Hands All Abilities Flag Football Clinic is a welcoming, low-pressure flag football clinic designed for athletes with special needs. Our goal is simple: give every player a chance to run, play, and be part of a team in a space where they can be themselves.
The heart of the clinic is athletes helping athletes. Peer helpers work alongside our players, learning together, encouraging one another, and celebrating every catch, flag pull, and big run. We keep groups small, instructions clear and simple, and the pace flexible. Players can jump in at their own comfort level, take breaks when they need them, and try things in their own way.
Who it's for: Athletes ages 5-13 with autism or other special needs. Siblings, friends, and peer helpers who want to join in and support are welcome too.

Cost: $20.00
What to bring: Comfortable athletic clothes, sneakers or cleats, and a water bottle. We provide flags, balls, and encouragement. If your athlete has a favorite comfort item, ear protection, or anything else that helps them feel at ease, bring it along.
Volunteers: Parkwood Youth Organization is 100% volunteer-run, and this clinic runs on that same spirit. If you'd like to help as a coach, buddy, or set-up crew, we'd love to have you. No experience needed, just a good attitude. Reach out to [email protected]
