In February, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recognized the City of Philadelphia for committing to reduce portfolio-wide greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50% within 10 years and to work with the DOE to share successful decarbonization strategies through the Better Climate Challenge.

Join WENGP on Thursday, June 2 to hear how organizations in Greater Philadelphia are part of this decarbonization journey, and what they're doing to also combat climate change.

Companies participating on the panel include Philadelphia Eagles, Braskem, Vicinity Energy and more to be named soon. The panel will be moderated by Christine Knapp, Director of the Office of Sustainability for the city of Philadelphia.

WEN Greater Philadelphia is seeking at least three volunteers to serve on the Nominations Committee alongside Cheryl Barfield, President and Stacy Torpey, President-Elect. The committee will meet by conference call to help determine the slate of candidates for the 2022 WEN Greater Philadelphia Board of Directors. To be eligible, you must be a WEN member but not seeking election or reelection to a WEN Greater Philadelphia board role.
