MEDLIFE UPenn

MEDLIFE UPenn MEDLIFE's goal is to provide Medicine, Education, and Development to Low-Income Families Everywhere. MEDLIFE Penn is a chapter of MEDLIFE NGO.

At Penn, we focus on community engagement through monthly service opportunities to homeless shelters, soup kitchens, local medical facilities, blood drives and much more. In addition to service on the local scale here in Philadelphia, MEDLIFE Penn also sends roughly 15-20 students to Latin America every spring break to help run mobile medical brigades for a week. These brigades are led by local do

ctors and nurses, and are aimed at providing various medical services to dozens of villages located hours away from hospitals, such as dentistry, pediatrics, gynecology, and pharmacology just to name a few. MEDLIFE Penn also hosts an annual conference to educate local students about global medical issues, as well as a 5K to help raise funds to provide electricity to rural villages in Peru.
