Today we served Turkey pasta casserole, cranberry sauce, banana pudding and chocolate pudding as well as snacks and cold drinks. Lots of clothing and shoes were distributed as well as cooling towels and hygiene kits. Kyrstin worked with a man having diabetes issues as well as other medical needs. As usual Leigh made homemade treats, Scott did a cleanup of the area and walked the ave to let everyone know we were there. Becky and members from OPC provided the hot meal and served our friends along with Jenna. Liv, Oli, Sam, Mare and Leigh helped people choose clothing And shoes. Marissa from Not Another Outreach came and gave our team training on how to respond on an overdose. Thank you to Mare and Jack for donating gift cards! We had our friend Dan secure a bed at Eagleville for a friend but he declined going at the last minute. He did take our number In Case he changes his mind. Lots of hugs were given And resources were shared with many that were receptive ❤️

I honestly don’t know how our friends handle this heat on the daily! Today was horrible and it wasn’t even one of the worst days this week. We served a ton of cold drinks and freeze pops along with hoagies, tuna and chicken and egg salad sandwiches, watermelon, cinnamon rolls with icing, doughnuts, and snacks. We also gave out cooling towels and hygiene packs. We were able to have Dan Sheehan secure a bed in rehab for one of our friends wanting to go! Scott did a cleanup of the area as well as let all of our friends know we were there. Oli and Jen helped all of our friends at the tables. Alyssa administered medical care to someone overdosing and they were taken to the hospital. We also relayed a letter to one of our friends from their family member and had two others contact loved ones. We were also able to distribute food at two different locations and glad we did because the people at the second location were so happy and surprised to get a meal and cold drink! Thank you to Heather Kersic for helping out today as well as our friend Jack for another giant gift card. Thank you to Leigh and her church friends for making 150 sandwiches for todays outreach ❤️

Yesterday due to the extreme heat we made a trip to hand out cold drinks and look for a few missing people and check on our friends. We did find the main person we were looking for. He was not ready for treatment so we gave him some supplies, drinks and resources along with his moms phone number. We are hoping he checks in with us Sunday. We also supplied groceries to a few people in recovery. Our friends were happy to see us and we warned them about the extreme heat yet to come and told them where to find cooling centers. Praying They all make out ok this week ❤️

Yesterday we served about 200 people. On the menu was cereal and milk, doughnuts, cake, snacks, cold drinks and freeze pops. Lots of clothing abs hygiene kits were distributed. We walked the ave to check on our friends and let people know we were there. It has been a rough week out there so we were happy to see a lot of our regulars. We were able to fill a prescription for someone in need and give them resources for rehab. We gave out a lot of hugs and talked to quite a few about rehab and the need for the hospital. We will follow up tomorrow with them. Special thanks to Stephanie Dockery and Terry and Max for Overbrook Presbyterian Church as well as many others who donated clothing and other items. We truly appreciate you.
