Our programs are designed to provide young people with advanced level software development, data science, and user experience design skills. To date, we have reached more than 1,100 students and completed over 1,500 instructional hours in Philadelphia, PA; Camden, NJ; and Delaware. Coded by Kids provides the following programs: CBK Classroom, CBK Academy Online, Ctrl+Shift and Teach to Learn. Coded by Kids is also the convening organization for 1Philadelphia - the citywide initiative aimed at making Philadelphia the capital for equitable tech and innovation.

In our upcoming Cb: Discover workshop Redesign the Apps You Use, innovators will break down how platforms like Instagram, Roblox, and Discord are designed, then use AI tools to build a better version of their own.

We’re excited to partner with Janelle Grace for this hands-on workshop exploring product design and the choices behind the technology we use.

No coding experience needed. Just curiosity and a willingness to create.

This fall, Coded by: is giving students more ways to explore technology, creativity, and innovation through free, hands-on workshops!

From coding and 3D animation to entrepreneurship and more, each Cb: Discover workshop is a chance to try something different, build something of your own, and learn where your interests can take you.

No experience required. Just show up ready to learn, create, and explore.

What a way to kick off the fall season! 🍂

This weekend, we welcomed students and families to Coded by: for our Fall Open House. Students got to preview what’s ahead with a hands-on activity, while families had the chance to learn more about Coded by: and our programs.

Thank you to everyone who joined us! We’re so excited to welcome new innovators and see what they’ll learn, build, and create this fall.

⌛ Time is running out! Fall classes start next week, and Saturday is the last day to sign up.

Coded by: Classroom gives students hands-on experience building real skills in technology, design, and innovation. They’ll work on real projects, try new things, and build the confidence to keep learning and creating.

Know a student who’s ready to get started? We still have spots available in our 200-level classes. Sign them up, and we’ll see them in class next week!
