The Horizon Youth Experience program (HYE) is based in the City of Philadelphia and holds two

major purposes with focus on the youth within our community: (1) Expanding the ‘horizons’ of

our urban youth community by exposing them to new experiences and (2) Providing them with

the opportunity to creatively serve their community. Through the Horizon Youth Build program participants will be giv

en the chance to not only

explore the amazing city they live in, but also have the chance to partake in cultural and skill

building activities including but not limited to the following:

• Museum tours

• Fine dinning & etiquette

courses

• Arts & Crafts

In today’s society many of our children have been disconnected from programs like HYB due to

funding issues and other extenuating circumstances within our city. With an amazingly dedicated

staff, volunteers, and parents it is our goal to reconnect our children with programs that allow

them to learn, grow, and experience.
