Our Story

Our mission is to establish a community resource center that provides academic training and development programs designed to promote positive behaviors that help individuals lead active and productive lives within the community.

Underserved communities of children and their families can be addressed with the proper resources that will help them strive and create opportunities for them to grow into strong adults and have better futures. The challenge for children in underserved communities is that their single families can’t provide them with the necessary needed attention for them to fully reached their potential. This ultimately results in the youth not excelling properly in school and as a young adult. Underserved children and their families in the communities of Philadelphia need programs that focuses on their most needed and challenging areas. The goal for YOUNG MEN BECOMING MEN INC is to continue to supply adequate resources for youth boys and their families who are underprivileged so that it will assist with addressing their mentorship needs and provide them with a supportive environment.
