Spring break… but make it life-changing✨

Last week, our students didn’t just take time off—they stepped into their future.

From walking the campus of North Carolina A&T State University to experiencing student life at Winston-Salem State University, South Carolina State University, and Claflin University—our HBCU Tour gave students a real glimpse of what’s possible.

They toured campuses, connected with college students, learned traditions, and saw themselves in spaces they’re destined to be in.

This is what exposure does.
This is what opportunity looks like.

And this is only the beginning.

Because when students can see it… they can become it.

Real connections still matter. 🤝

Last Saturday we hosted our annual Youth Conference, centered around this year’s theme: Connection.

In a world that’s increasingly digital, we wanted to remind students of the power of building real relationships, networking with intention, and learning directly from people who have walked the path before them.

Students heard from keynote speaker Ameen Ibn Akbar, participated in interactive workshops, joined a career panel discussion, and connected with organizations during our career fair.

Thank you to our advisors, facilitators, panelists, volunteers, and community partners who helped bring this experience to life. We were also grateful to have the support of our Inspiring Minds New York chapter who came out to be part of the day.

And most importantly, thank you to the students and families who continue to invest in growth and opportunity.

This year’s message was simple: I’m Connected.

A special thank you to United Lutheran Seminary for generously hosting us and providing the space for our students to learn, connect, and grow.
