🏠 Six Years of Eviction Diversion: CORA’s Impact in Action

For six years, CORA Good Shepherd Mediation has been helping Philadelphia landlords and tenants find a path forward before disputes reach the courtroom.

Through mediation, early intervention, and partnership, the Eviction Diversion Program creates opportunities for communication, resolution, and greater stability.

📊 In FY25 alone, CORA conducted 3,492 Eviction Diversion mediations, reaching more than 6,984 individuals. 👏

From meaningful conversations and workshops to opportunities to step outside their comfort zones and simply enjoy being together, each experience gave participants another way to strengthen relationships and build confidence.

Because support doesn’t stop when school is out. Creating spaces where young people feel connected, supported and encouraged matters all year long.

We’re looking forward to welcoming Youth Peer Group back this fall! YPG school year hours resume Wednesday, September 2nd, meeting every Wednesday from 4:30–6:30pm through June.

Rudy, Assistant Director of CORA Early Years, recently completed First Up’s Hispanic Early Childhood Education Fellowship and was recognized by Pennsylvania State Representative Danilo Burgos with a legislative certificate celebrating her achievement. 🎓👏

Stronger support for families starts with stronger connections across systems. 🤝

On June 15, CORA’s Family Navigation team attended the Linked Family Services Bridging Care Conference, joining professionals across child welfare, behavioral health, healthcare, education, and community-based organizations.

Together, participants explored how collaboration, coordination, and early intervention can help caregivers and families access support before challenges escalate—especially in underserved communities across Philadelphia.

We are grateful for opportunities to learn, connect, and strengthen the partnerships that help families navigate complex systems and receive the care they need. 💙
