It's juggling household and employment responsibilities, transportation costs and so many more things that we struggle with while trying to fight this disease. Has someone close to you been diagnosed with breast cancer? Are they having a hard time dealing with the co-pays child care and al

l the "little expenses" that aren't covered by health insurance? Friends in Pink is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit group that was formed in 2009 and is committed to raising funds for those who have been diagnosed with Breast Cancer in the Roxborough Manayunk and surrounding Community. We have recently decided to expand our community to include the surrounding community on a case by case basis, and those dealing with other types of cancer pending availability of funds Our mission is to assist with unexpected medical costs, copay’s, activities of daily living, transportation costs and other unexpected expenses that people have to deal with when coping with this diagnosis. Save your Shoprite receipts for us! Brown's Shoprite Save A Tape Program will reimburse a small percentage of the tapes we turn in! (every little bit helps us to continue to raise funds to help those dealing with cancer) Shoprite will accept receipts from any of their 12 Shoprite Stores and 2 Fresh Grocers.
