Avery grew up here, went off to college, came back to Philly - and came right back to us too. Lynda's kids grew up in this community, and now she volunteers alongside her daughter.

We need more adults like them. We're looking for:
🌟 Sunday Circle group leaders
📸 Photographers willing to donate their time
🎨 Activity facilitators to share their talents
🤝 Young adults to help create a warm atmosphere at our 18+ programs

What does summer look like at Philly Friendship Circle? ☀️🎨✨

If you think things slow down, think again! Behind the scenes, our summer is buzzing with energy. We’ve been:

This week, Laurie, Jackie and I stopped by Game On State (part of Aneway For Purpose), run by longtime Philly Friendship Circle friend, Aimee Rubin! It was so special to visit and learn more about the work our friends like Tyler Orens, do there. 🌟
We learned all about the fun, hands-on, and meaningful activities taking place at Game On State—including custom screen printing for T-shirts and swag! 👕🎨

💡 Exciting teaser: We’re already working on a plan for our 2026–2027 Teen Leadership Board to design and create their very own custom sweatshirts at Game On State this coming year! 🧥✨

Summer is about growth, friendship, and collaboration. We can't wait for everything coming next!

Happy 4th of July Holiday Weekend from all of us at Philly Friendship Circle! ❤️🤍💙

As we celebrate this holiday weekend, we're grateful for the friendships, kindness, and sense of community that make our Friendship Circle so special. We hope your weekend is filled with laughter, great company, and plenty of reasons to smile.

With temperatures trying to steal the spotlight from the fireworks this year, don't forget to stay hydrated, find some shade, and let the popsicles do their important work! 🍦☀️

Day 8 | Masada

We kicked things off at Masada before heading to the Dead Sea, where there was plenty of floating, laughing, and making memories together.

We wrapped up the day exploring Ben Yehuda Street with some shopping, ice cream, and time to enjoy Jerusalem together.

These are the moments that make the trip so special. 💙

Yesterday gave our Birthright group the chance to learn more about Israel's strength, resilience, and the importance of showing up for one another.

We began by visiting the Nova Festival Memorial and later stopped at the overlook in Sderot, where our group took time to reflect on everything we had seen and learned. Whether through writing, drawing, or simply talking together, everyone had the opportunity to process the experience and connect with the resilience that continues to define the people of Israel.

After sharing lunch at Chabad of Sderot, we celebrated two birthdays before heading to a paint bar in Ein Kerem. Creating art together gave our friends another way to reflect on the day. We created beautiful pieces while enjoying nature.

We ended the evening with dinner, grateful for the chance to support one another through both the difficult moments and the joyful ones.

Three incredible days all in one post! Since we spent Shabbat unplugged, we're recapping the last few days all together.

We said goodbye to the North and headed to Jerusalem, stopping for a hike at Sataf and exploring the Davidson Center and the southern excavations of the Temple Mount before making our way to the Kotel. After checking into our new hotel, we got ready to welcome Shabbat in the heart of Jerusalem.

Shabbat gave us time to slow down, reflect, and connect. From meaningful conversations about our relationships with Israel to spending time with our new Israeli friends, the day was filled with friendship, laughter, and community.

Today began with a visit to Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust museum, where we reflected on the stories, history, and resilience of the Jewish people.

After such a meaningful morning, we shifted into exploring more of Jerusalem, experiencing the energy of Machane Yehuda Market, touring the Old City, and soaking in all the sights, sounds, and flavors of the shuk.

Many unforgettable days in Israel are in the books, and we're excited for everything still to come!
