Jimmy Lynch is deeply involved with athletics in the City of Philadelphia. As the Executive Director of Athletics for the School District of Philadelphia, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of athletic programming from elementary through high school. Jimmy is also an adjunct professor at Drexel University and is the President of the Philadelphia Public League. He shares his experiences and thoughts about partnering with Beat the Streets.

This past weekend, Samiyah & Julie perfectly embodied Grit, leaving all of us beaming with pride. Their effort, perseverance, and enthusiasm, shined all weekend — we couldn’t ask for two more impressive young women to represent BTS Philly on one of the biggest stages in high school wrestling!

We’re so proud of these girls, and all of our kids who continue to show up everyday in the pursuit of excellence!
