Recognized around the world, we have taken the over-night walk to the Collegiate level for another year at Saint Joe's! In our first year we were recognized for our outstanding performance and financial contributions of over $47,000. Each team is encouraged to raise at least $100 per team member and have a representative on the track at all times--remember no donation is too small. Relay is an ove

rnight event, to symbolize the fact that cancer never sleeps, so neither should we. 12 hours may seem like a long time to walk around a track... but add in music, free food, friends, contests, dancing, and much more they fly by and 7am is here in no time! One month ago today, Saint Joe’s Relay For Life came together for our annual main event. The day was filled with so much love, support, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Most importantly, our family, friends, and community united for one important cause.

Because of everyone’s incredible support, we were able to raise over $25,000 for the American Cancer Society. Thank you to everyone who came out, donated, participated, and supported us along the way.

SJU Relay For Life came together to honor our angels, those currently fighting, and those who have beaten this devastating disease. The night was filled with inspiring speeches, exciting raffles, and memories we will never forget. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the night so special!

“I relay for my great grandmother, grandfather, and friends. I Relay for all of the people who have been affected by cancer physically or emotionally. I didn’t really know my great grandmother because she was taken away from us too soon. No one should have to go through hearing the words you have cancer. So, I Relay to help find a solution for cancer, to inspire hope inside people, and to raise awareness to this deadly disease.”
