The Sentencing Foundation is proud to announce that we are a recipient of the Targeted Community Investment Grant (TCIG) from the Philadelphia Office of Public Safety in the amount of $30,000! 🎉
This grant supports organizations like ours that are working to create safer communities throughout Philadelphia. At The Sentencing Foundation, we believe the criminal justice system should address the root causes of crime—not just its consequences. By connecting individuals with the resources and support they need to build stable, productive lives, we help reduce recidivism, strengthen our neighborhoods, and building a safer community. This funding will allow us to continue our mission of narrowing the trust gap between the community and the criminal justice system by empowering individuals impacted by the justice system to create lasting change in their own lives.
Through our Resource-Based Sentencing & Supervision program, we remain committed to promoting accountability at every level—from judges to defendants—while helping build safer, stronger communities. We’re honored for the city to acknowledge this impact.
