πŸ”¨ National Apprenticeship Week Kick-Off – A Powerful Start in Philadelphia πŸ”¨

Last night, the Philadelphia Building Trades Council proudly kicked off National Apprenticeship Week at the Laborers Training Facility β€” bringing together the very best of our union workforce and the future of our industry.

With 20+ interactive tables featuring union trades, industry partners, end users, and apprenticeship programs, the event created a dynamic, hands-on experience for all in attendance.

From young people exploring career pathways to industry professionals connecting and collaborating, the energy in the room was unmatched. Attendees had the opportunity to engage directly with our trades, learn about registered apprenticeship programs, and see firsthand what it means to build a career in union construction.

A special highlight of the evening was honoring apprentices from each local union β€” recognizing their hard work, dedication, and commitment to mastering their craft. These individuals represent the strength, discipline, and future of the Building Trades.

This event showcased exactly what the Building Trades stand for:
βœ”οΈ Opportunity
βœ”οΈ Training
βœ”οΈ Family-sustaining careers
βœ”οΈ A strong, united workforce

We were honored to welcome local elected officials, city leaders, union leadership, and community members β€” all coming together to support and invest in the next generation.

This is more than a career path β€” it’s a future.

Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make this kickoff such a success.
