Athlete Health Organization Non-profit providing free health screenings for high school athletes in Philadelphia region

In honor of CPR/AED Awareness Week, Simon’s Heart is proud to partner with Athlete Health Organization (AHO), Jefferson Health Plans, and Philadelphia Youth Basketball (PYB) — in collaboration with the School District of Philadelphia to provide free heart screenings during their annual sports physical event on Friday, June 6th. Schools and athletes from the district have already been selected to attend.

What a wonderful event we had on June 10! We are so grateful to ALL our volunteers who helped screen over 850 high school student-athletes. We couldn't have done it without you! Thank you to coaches and parents for bringing your kids to the event to make sure they are healthy for sports and overall. Lastly, thank you to the students for coming out. Seeing you come through and knowing we are helping you have a safe and successful season makes it all worth it!
