This summer, a new group of young people are gaining valuable experience as they take on leadership positions in Pennsylvania's Masonic youth groups.
First, meet the recently installed Grand Master Knight for the Prince Hall Grand Council Order of the Knights of Pythagoras of PA, David Trusty! A member of Herbert E. Millen Council No. 8, Philadelphia, he is majoring in Biochemistry at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
"The Knights have played a huge role in my life," he said. "Not only has it brought me out of my shell, but it also introduced me to a lot of new people and opportunities. I couldn't be more grateful to be a part of the organization and even be the face of it for the state."
Goals for his term are to do more work in the community, increase membership and have more opportunities, both formal and informal, for the Knights to gather and connect.
