This started with a moment… but it became a movement.

What we saw during COVID-19 wasn’t new —
it just made the gaps impossible to ignore.

Families were navigating pregnancy, birth, and postpartum without the care, support, and dignity they deserved.

So we did something about it.

Midwives, advocates, and community came together to create access — real access — to safe, culturally responsive birth options.

And the impact is real:
✨ $190,050+ distributed
✨ 75 families supported
✨ Countless lives touched

But we’re not stopping here.

We’re building what should have always existed:

🤎 More access to home birth support
🤎 Stronger pathways for doulas and birth workers
🤎 Resources that center families, not systems
🤎 A community where care is consistent, not conditional

Because the future we’re working toward is clear:
Every family supported.
Every birth respected.
Every outcome better.

Real support. Real outcomes. Real change—together. 🫶🏾

We took a step back—on purpose.

Over the past year, we paused to realign our leadership, strengthen our foundation, and get clear on how we show up for families in our community. Not out of uncertainty—but out of intention.

Because this work is too important to rush.

Now, we’re stepping into a new chapter with a stronger vision and a deeper commitment to what matters most:

✨ Culturally responsive birth care
✨ Home birth support
✨ Doula pathways & certification support
✨ Nutrition access for families

Philly Birth Fund exists to remove barriers to care and improve maternal health outcomes for those most impacted by gaps in access.

This isn’t just a relaunch.
It’s a reset—with purpose.

We’re building something that lasts.

We had such a beautiful time at our Valentine’s gathering!! We got to connect with so many incredible people in our community. Together we moved our bodies, rested our minds, and envisioned brighter futures, all while sharing a meaningful day of love and intention. 💫

We’re also so grateful to have raised vital funds for Philly Home Birth and to continue supporting families in our city. Thank you to everyone who showed up with open hearts and if you missed this one, don’t worry… we’re already looking forward to the next event. 🤍
