Clinical trials are often where the rubber meets the road between research and fighting cancer. Jennifer's battle with and triumph over melanoma is emblematic of this. Check out the attached article for her amazing story.

Jennifer Ficko was diagnosed with stage IV melanoma in 2010. Thanks to her participation in a clinical trial, she is now cancer free.

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month and as the weather continues to get warm, many people start spending more time outside. Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States, but it’s also one of the most preventable. Before you head outside to heat up the grill or take that first dive into the pool, make sure your skin is protected to help reduce your risk of skin cancer. And, don't forget to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist for a thorough skin check.

This year's event is focused on skin cancers and the brilliant researchers leading the charge against them. Please see the attached link below for details.
