We will be interviewing artist "Jerry Puryear"!

Jerry Puryear specializes in Art classes, art as Therapy and healing through trauma informed care. He does Portraits, abstract art, murals and he works with repurposed materials. Art, art education and people are some of Jerry's greatest passions in life. He went to Saint Joseph's University and majored in Fine and Performing Arts. Through art he strives to document and incorporate his own personal experiences, to capture principles and concepts concerning life.

We will be screening "The Mill Creek: Past, Present & Future
Documentary" tonight on our website at 8PM Followed by an online chat discussion. We also want to honor the late Frances Aulston (Founder and CEO of the Paul Robeson House and the West Philadelphia Cultural Alliance) who we had the great opportunity of interviewing during this documentary in 2013. Her legacy will live on! This screening is also part of the WorldWide Viewing Campaign.

The Mill Creek Community Partnership (MCCP) under its Fine Art Through Our Eyes Community Arts Initiatives with Eli Lu Productions has produced "The Mill Creek Documentary: Past, Present and Future" as Part I of its Urban Preservation Outreach Initiatives to serve as an outlet and resource to document, preserve, awaken, re-ignite, engage, inform, empower, heal, inspire and activate the Mill Creek community, its residents and surrounding communities. The project was made possible through
the generous support of The Preservation Alliance of Greater Philadelphia.
