🚨FAST will be on FOX 29 Good Day Philadelphia sharing a story that is deeply personal to us.

Jaime Meekins will talk about losing his son, Mu’aawiyah, to gun violence and how he turned that pain into purpose and passion.

What started as a family nonprofit created by his grandmother has grown into a public safety powerhouse dedicated to preventing violence, creating opportunities and saving lives.

Jaime carries his son’s legacy with him every day.

Tune in tomorrow at 7:30 AM.

Pain can become purpose. Grief can become action. And one life can inspire a movement.

At FAST, we believe financial wellness is community wellness. That’s why we’re proud to announce our own, Tracey Wallington, AFC®️, will be joining Session III of the Wellness Series, speaking on the wealth gap, financial stability strategies, and how income disparity shapes health and access to care for women and girls of color in Philadelphia.

The leadership of F.A.S.T. Foundation extends our heartfelt thanks to Strides for Peace, Brown’s ShopRite, our generous donors, participants, volunteers, and community partners for helping make Philadelphia’s inaugural Race Against Gun Violence a tremendous success.
Together, we created a powerful day of remembrance, healing, and hope for families and communities impacted by gun violence.
While race day may be behind us, our mission continues. Fundraising remains open through September 22, and we invite you to help us keep the momentum going as we advance this critical cause.
Thank you for standing with us and believing in our vision for safer, stronger communities.
With gratitude,
The F.A.S.T. Foundation

🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️This Saturday, August 22nd, FAST is proud to participate in the inaugural Philadelphia Race Against Gun Violence alongside our partners at Strides for Peace Chicago.

Gun violence has impacted our family personally, which makes this fight deeply personal. As a family and an organization, we’re committed to ending gun violence by treating it as the public health crisis it is.

We race for the lives lost, the families impacted, and a safer future for our communities.

We don’t just race against gun violence, we run toward peace.
