We're just a week away from Penn Band Camp 2025! Meet the fearless staff of counselors and clinicians who will be leading the charge!
Undergraduate Counselors
Rachel Breon (Saxophone) is a rising junior at the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Psychology and Criminology. She has been playing the sax for 8 years and has been in band for 12 years. In her free time, Rachel likes to play animal crossing, hike, paint, and as of recently she has been trying to improve her basketball skills (of which she has none). Being both Vice President and Co-Drum Major of the Penn Band her love of band has never been stronger, and she cannot wait to share it with all the campers. Speaking of campers, this is her first year as a counselor, and she can’t wait to meet you all!
Lucy Marone (Clarinet) is a rising sophomore in the College studying political science. She has played clarinet for 10 years and has added various instruments to her wheelhouse since then. As a Philly native, she was in the All-City ensembles (concert band, orchestra and jazz orchestra) all through high school, as well as participating in pit orchestra and jazz combo at Central High School. This is her first year as a counselor and she is so excited to be here!
Rose Marone (Saxophone) is a rising sophomore in the College at Penn, studying English and Italian. Rose has been saxophone-ing for 9 years in concert and big bands, jazz combos, and pit orchestras. She is a Philly native and excited to share her love of music and her city. This is her first summer as a counselor and she can’t wait to meet all of you!
Jeremiah Ntiamoah (Clarinet) is a rising senior studying Biology with minors in Chemistry and Music. He has been playing clarinet for 12 years and currently serves as the President of the Penn Band. Outside of music, Jeremiah also does research at the Children Hospital of Philadelphia’s Center for Mitochondrial and Epigenomic Medicine, where he’s (trying to) work on his Master’s Thesis! This is his first year being a counselor and he can’t wait to have a great week with everyone!
Camp Clinician
Robin Coyne (Flute) earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a Minor in Music in 2012, and a Master of Science in Nursing in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program in 2015. She was very active in the Penn Band during her time as a student, serving as a Conducting Assistant, then Drum Major for 2 years. Robin is a proud member of the Flute section, and since graduating, has been a member of the Penn Band Alumni Sports Board. She served as a counselor for Penn Band Summer Music Camp as a student, and this will be her 5th year as a clinician. She lives in New Jersey with her husband Joe (Penn EE ’10 & GEE’10) and their two sons. She finds joy in music outside of Penn as well, currently serving as the Drum Major of the Marching arm of the Philadelphia Freedom Band (PFB). PFB performs throughout the greater Philadelphia area and provides visible, active support to the LGBTQ+ community. They are committed to a shared goal of musical excellence and commitment to social justice.
