Meet the 2026 Band Camp Counselors!

Lucas Jeffrey (Trumpet) is a rising sophomore in the College studying mathematics and political science. He has played trumpet for eleven years but has also played guitar for eight years. He is the section leader for the trumpet section in the Penn Band and played in his high school marching band, concert band, and jazz band. When not playing music, he spends his time watching movies and writing. This is his first year as a counselor and is excited to meet everyone and play some music!

Caiden Scarfo (Percussion) is a rising freshman at Belmont University, planning to study Commercial Music with an emphasis in Performance. Caiden has been playing the drums and piano for 8 years, but he also plays guitar and sings. Caiden is part of a local program called the Uptown Music Collective where he has the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of people a year. Outside of music, he likes working out, playing football, watching TV, and hanging out with friends. This is his first year as a counselor and his 4th year attending camp, and he can’t wait to meet everyone and have a great time!

Christina Soule (Percussion) is a rising freshman in the College majoring in HSOC. She has played percussion for 6 years and has been in band for 10 years. In high school she played in the Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, Pep Band, and Pit Ensemble. This is her sixth year in Penn Band camp and first year as a counselor and she is so excited to be here!

Band Camp starts in a week! This year, our campers are converging on Philadelphia from all around, including from as close as Philadelphia, seven different US states, and as far as Vietnam and Hong Kong!

with The University of Pennsylvania Band!

Penn Football at Franklin Field

We will once again be hosting “Band Day” here at Penn – a football-based day-long event for local band programs (Grades 7-12).
Participating programs are invited to join the University Band at the Penn football game at historic Franklin Field here in Philadelphia on Saturday, October 10th, 2026

Participating Bands will be invited to perform with the Penn Band in the stands and as a massed band during halftime on the field at a televised (ESPN+) college football game.
