Every step we take in our volunteer community work carries the weight of our history, our culture, and our commitment to future generations. KPAC has faced obstacles, hardships, and moments that tested our endurance — but we never stopped moving forward.

Today, we stand proud as our work becomes recognized by both local and federal registries. This recognition isn’t just for KPAC — it’s for our elders, our youth, our families, and everyone who believes in preserving Cambodian arts and culture in Philadelphia.

We extend our deepest gratitude to Preah Buddha Rangsay Temple, Methodist Hospital Foundation, Sharing Excess, DBHIDS, BUMI Productions, Fleisher Arts Memorial, Drexel University, Temple University, University of Delaware, and the City of Philadelphia mayor and council members for the Philadelphia Cultural Fund. Your support strengthens our mission and helps our community shine.

Deep gratitude to Sharing Excess Organization for providing fresh fruits and vegetables to KPAC every weekend for the last few years. Your ongoing generosity nourishes our families, strengthens our cultural programs, and uplifts the wellbeing of our South Philly community.

Today, we are sharing these fresh produce items at Preah Buddha Rangsay Temple in South Philadelphia. Distribution is first come, first serve, and we welcome everyone to stop by and receive what they need.

Tonight, we joined fellow arts and culture leaders and grantee organizations in a gathering dedicated to honoring the vital work we collectively carry forward. This recognition affirms the importance of our shared commitment to serving our communities, strengthening cultural identity, and ensuring that our children and future generations inherit a vibrant and resilient cultural landscape.

KPAC is proud to stand among partners who continue to advance artistic expression, cultural preservation, and community well‑being across Philadelphia. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Philadelphia Cultural Fund for their continued support and for acknowledging the impact of our work. Their investment enables us to sustain and expand our mission of uplifting Khmer performing arts, cultural education, and intergenerational learning.

We look forward to continuing this work together and to building a future where culture remains a powerful source of connection, healing, and pride.
